Description
Get ready to stitch up some tail feathers in the Chicken Cross Stitch Club! Designed by Lori Holt of Bee in my Bonnet Co., these cute chickens are ready to fly the coop right into your needlework. You’ll cross stitch a whole coop of happy chickens all year long!
Each month, for 12 months, Lori Holt will release a new pattern in the series. When Lori designed the Chicken Club charts, she decided to include a name tag for each chicken, as a bonus. Feel free to add it or leave it off.
Stitch counts: ~60w x 80h
Skill Level: Beginner
This is a mystery pattern club, so Lori will release a new pattern name each month. We had wanted to offer an option where subscribers could also get the fabric, threads, and other notions needed for each pattern mailed monthly along with the pattern, but because of the way these patterns are being released, we don’t have enough information to accurately calculate the supplies needed for the whole 12 months.
Therefore, this is how we have set up the Club:
- Every month for 12 months you will receive a new Lori Holt Chicken Cross Stitch Pattern
- In January (or the first month you sign up), you will receive a Lori Holt Chicken Club Enamel Needle Minder
- Also in January (or the first month you sign up), you will receive a pkg of Cosmo Cross Stitch Needles
- Every month you will receive a 10% off coupon good for that month, to be used towards a Chicken Cross Stitch Club Add-On Pack.
- First Club mailing will be 21 January 2023
What is the Chicken Stitch Club Add-On Pack? We’re glad you asked! Every month (or as often as needed) we will put together a package of fabric, thread, trim, and other notions that Lori uses in making and finishing the cross stitch for that month. We will offer this add-on pack separately for those who want to purchase.
Lori Holt Chicken Cross Stitch Club Add-On Pack #1 includes:
- 25 count Lugana cross stitch fabric in barley, 9″ x 13″ (enough for one chicken)
- FQ Bee Plaids Fabric in Songbird
- 1 yard Tea Rose Large Vintage Trim
- 7 – Spools Aurifloss in the following colours: Red, Dark Pink, Dark Yellow, Light Yellow, Aqua, Denim, and Dark Brown
- Cost: £42.50

Shipping & Delivery
Shipping and Delivery Information
Orders placed before 1pm Monday to Friday are shipped the same day. Orders placed after 1pm Monday to Friday are shipped the next working day.
Please note that during exceptionally busy times (eg Black Friday sales, birthday sales, etc) orders will take longer to ship than usual.
We ship with Royal Mail both in the UK and internationally. Occasionally for international parcels over UPS we may need to ship with UPS or another company.
We charge a flat rate delivery fee of £3.00 for delivery in the UK for orders less than £45.
Orders over £45 for UK delivery qualify for free shipping.
International orders are charged at a flat rate delivery fee of £10 for shipping worldwide.
Next day delivery is available for a flat rate fee of £9.00.
Local orders can be collected. If your postcode is local the 'Local Pickup' option will be available at checkout. When you receive an email saying your order has been completed this is when it is ready for collection. Parcels can be collected Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm.
Royal Mail First Class delivery in the UK takes 1-2 working days on average. Royal Mail Second Class delivery in the UK takes 3-5 working days on average.
Royal Mail Next Day Delivery is delivered the next working day before 1pm (some conditions apply).
Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed takes 7-10 days on average. However, parcels are stopped by customs and can take several weeks to clear customs. Your tracking number will be added to your order when it is shipped so you should be able to keep an eye on where your parcel is in the process.
All international orders are NOT charged VAT at checkout and therefore will be stopped at customs and the correct VAT will be charged for your country at that point. We legally have to declare all items in the parcel and the correct invoice total for the parcel.
Please note that this will mean a delay in receiving your parcel as customs can take 1-2 weeks to process a parcel, though it is sometimes faster.

We accept returns of unused, unopened items in saleable condition within 30 days of the order.
We do not accept returns of cut fabric as this has been cut off the bolt specifically for your order.
Please contact us on staff@sewhot.co.uk to let us know if you are returning an item. Return postage is not paid unless the item being returned is faulty or damaged.
General Shipping Information
We aim to ship all orders placed by 1pm the same day, apart from during busy sale times. Orders are shipped Monday to Friday via Royal Mail. A Local Pickup option is available at checkout for local customers. See the tabs on the left for more detailed shipping and delivery information.
Combining or Changing Orders
We are always happy to combine, change, or add to orders to help you save on shipping costs.
However, we do ask that you notify us before 12 noon on the day your order is due to ship. After this time it is likely your order will have been packaged and booked for shipping, and we will not be able to change it.

We sell fabric in 5cm cuts with a minimum of 0.25 metres. If you order 0.25 metres this will come as a fat quarter (50cm x 55cm). Any amount over this - eg 0.5 metres, will come as the amount you want cut by the width of fabric (eg 50cm x 110cm).
